Benazir Nashonuma Program (BNP)
It is a conditional cash transfer initiative for pregnant and lactating women So that they can care for their newborns in a better way. The government of Pakistan launched this program with the cooperation of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety. In a developing country like Pakistan, there is not enough health and nutrition spot available for new mothers and newborn. Therefore, it was necessary to launch a social safety program so that infants and children under 5 years are supported financially.
